In May 2008, AB Achema launched a new modern production line of argon, technical nitrogen and gas mixtures; to this line, the concern Achema Group invested over LTL 2.5 million. The production line may be used for production of two-component as well as three-component gas mixtures of all varieties.
Gaschema, the branch of AB Achema, introduces new products to the market: argon as well as argon and carbonic acid gas mixtures designed for welding; technical nitrogen as well as nitrogen and carbonic acid gas mixtures designed for food industry. For the production of the aforesaid products, gas of the highest quality is purchased, i.e. argon and nitrogen the concentration whereof is not less than 99.999%, and carbonic acid produced in AB Achema is used the concentration whereof is not less than 99.9%. Three-component gas mixtures containing oxygen, helium and hydrogen will be launched to the market gradually.
Currently, argon and carbonic acid gas mixtures designed for welding works, metal treatment and processing are the most popular in the market. Gas mixtures significantly enhance the quality of welding and metal processing as well as welding environment. Gaschema may fill gas mixture cylinders according to the composition provided by you as well as according to the technology required for your production.
Demand for nitrogen and carbonic acid gas mixtures used in food industry has been also continuously growing. These mixtures are applied in modified atmosphere packages (MAP) designed for maintaining product quality appropriate for usage as long as possible.
All products produced by AB Achema and distributed by its branch Gaschema have been certified and are manufactured in compliance with the approved company standard the chief goal whereof is to ensure the high quality of the new products and their traceability. For its part, Gaschema will ensure expeditious delivery of the aforementioned products throughout Lithuania for the most favourable prices.
Gaschema, the branch of AB Achema, fills gas mixtures (argon-based) into cylinders of grey colour with light green shoulder, and offers you gas mixtures in 40 l cylinders by 7.12 m3 (150 bar), in 50 l cylinders by 11.9 m3 (200 bar) as well as gas mixtures in bundles 12 x50 l by 142.8 m3 (200 bar).
